About

Support Our Work

Our work is offered as a service to people, not as a business. Where there is a charge for a yagya or a consultation, it is kept modest.

Where your contribution goes

  • Priests and teachers
  • Materials for the Yagya
  • Care of the ashram and the Yagyashala
  • Keeping Vedic knowledge freely available to all

Giving in the Vedic tradition

In the Vedic tradition, giving (dana) is itself a spiritual practice. The Bhagavad Gita says the purest giving is given freely, at the right time and place, to someone who truly needs it, expecting nothing back (Gita 17.20).

Ways to support

  • The ashram and our tradition: care of the ashram, the Yagyashala and our daily prayers.
  • Food for sadhus: meals for monks and renunciates.
  • Annadan: food for people in need.
  • Vedic students (Batuks): food, clothing and study needs for young students who study the Vedas.
